I’m from Chongqing, the birthplace of spicy hotpot—though I can’t handle spicy food like I used to! Still, my love for bold flavors goes with me wherever I go.

I really enjoy exploring different cuisines, and I’ve been lucky to live in three of China’s culinary capitals—Chongqing, Chengdu, and Guangzhou. If you’re planning to visit any of these cities, I’d be happy to recommend some must-try dishes.

Outside of work, music is a big part of my life. I love singing, playing guitar, and just getting lost in good songs. I’m especially inspired by artists like Faye Wong, Jay Chou, Yichun Shan, Conan Gray, and Faouzia. Here are some of the albums I come back to again and again.

I also make an effort to stay healthy by dedicating 1-2 hours to fitness whenever possible. It’s something I’ve recently started focusing on, exploring different types of exercise to keep both body and mind in balance.

I’m also an uncle to two adorable nephews—my brother’s kids—who always manage to brighten my day (even when they’re being a bit mischievous). I’m incredibly grateful to my family for their constant support and encouragement.

Traveling is something I really enjoy. I love discovering new places, trying local food, and just seeing how people live in different corners of the world. It’s one of the ways I recharge and stay curious.
